3rd Davyhulme Scout & Guide Band Concert
The concert given by the 3rd Davyhulme Scout & Guide Band was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone who ventured out on Saturday evening. The surprise is that the roof is still on at the Assembly rooms on Cecil Rd in Hale. We enjoyed rousing marches and modern themed music, there was a young man who was brilliant on the drums and who nearly stole the show. The compare kept us very entertained with lively stories about the history of the band. The second half got us all into the spirit of Christmas with plenty of audience participation. We enjoyed Christmas goodies for our refreshments served with mulled wine. If you weren’t there then you missed a treat!
